What’s It About: Talented chef Seo Poong works at a popular Chinese restaurant inside of a hotel. His fiance cheats on him with the hotel CEO. Seo Poong swears revenge on the CEO and quits his job. A shabby Chinese restaurant named the Hungry Wok, operates across the street from a six star hotel. The restaurant used to be operated by a former gangster, Doo Chil-Seong. Seeing as it is now out of business, Seo Poong buys the abandoned restaurant and brings over all of the customers from the popular hotel. Dan Sae-Woo has had her life turned upside down. She applies at the shabby Chinese restaurant where Seo Poong falls in love with her at first sight.

Upon his arrival, the female chefs are fired one by one and Seo Yoo-kyung finds herself as the last woman standing. She gets fired several times by Choi Hyun Wook but wins a permanent position in a blind taste test. Choi Hyun Wook’s old rival/girlfriend gets hired at the restaurant by the new owner. All of this leads to jealousy, rivalry, love and hatred in the complicated relationships between the four characters.
