What’s It About: Jun Nishimura has a passion for cooking. One day, he gets an unexpected assignment, be the chef for an expedition at the South Polar in the Dome Fuji Station. Nishimura says goodbye to his family has he heads down to the Antarctic. He will be gone for a year. Out in the middle of nowhere, Nishimura manages to cook extravagant meals made with high-class ingredients. Soon, the crew begins one existential crisis after another. Boredom, lonliness, and isolation begins to set in for the men. Also they run out of ramen.
