1. Miracle In Cell No. 7



What’s It About: Based on a true story, it tells the story of Yong Gu and his six-year-old daughter, Ye-Seung. He suffers from a neurological condition that gives him the mental ability of a six-year-old. One day while at the store to buy a backpack for his daughter, Yong Gu gets into a tiff with police officers. While outside of the store, he witnesses a terrible accident and gets blames for it. While in jail, the prisoners doesn’t want to be around him believing that he is a murderer until one night he saves the life of a powerful gang leader. After winning them over, the inmates plot to help Yong Gu reunite with his daughter.

3. House Of Hummingbird



What’s It About: 1994 Seoul, Eun-Hee is just an average 14-year-old girl. She spends her days between school and home. Her father typically ignores her in favor of her older brother, who abuses her mentally and physically. Eun Hee often finds comfort in her friends but that isn’t until she meets her new tutor, Young Ji, that she finds real comfort and support. 4. A Brand New Life



What’s It About: Jin-Hee is 9-years-old. Her father has recently gotten remarried. While at the orphange, Jin-Hee tries to come to terms with her abandonment by her father and the struggle with the other kids. In the meantime, Jin-Hee gets adopted by French parents. She continually holds out hope that her father will return for her.

5. My Little Baby, Jaya



What’s It About: Won-Sool has cerebal palsy. His daughter, Jaya, is his pride and joy. While at school, Jaya is continually getting bullied by her classmates. Won-Sool finds out one night, that something terrible has happened to his daughter, and his world is completely shattered. Feeling helpless and let down by society, Won-Sool decides to take revenge on the ones that hurt his Jaya.
