1. The Concubine
What’s It About: During the Joseon Dynasty, a concubine of the former King, has a step-son she cares for. She currently has no bloodties to the King and wants to install her own son, Sung-Won. He is a timid person but falls in love with th artistrocrats daughter, Hwa-Yeon, upon first sight. But Hwa-Yeon loves a lowly commoner named, Kwon-Yoo. Her father sends her to the palace to marry the king. Hwa-Yeon runs away and tries to elope with Kwon-Yoo. They get caught the first night and Hwa-Yeon agrees to marry the king in order to save Kwon-Yoo’s life. Years later, Hwa-Yeon is now Queen and runs into Kwon-Yoo after many years apart. They both feel the spark is still between them. Now the two are caught in a love triangle, fighting for each other’s love.

2. The Treacherous
What’s It About: After his mother’s death, Prince Yeonsan becomes engraged and blames everyone around him. He appoints his long-time friend, Im Soong-Jae and his father to the position of retainer. They are ordered to round up beautiful woman from all over the country to comfort Prince Yeonsan. Dan-Hee is a beautiful woman from the lower part of the country, working as a butcher. One day, she saves Im Soong-Jae from danger and then begs him to take her to the palace. He refuses due to his own personal reasons. Soon enough, Dan-Hee manages to get to the palace. Im Soong-Jae becomes conflicted between serving the King and his feelings for Dan-Hee.

3. Empire Of Lust
What’s It About: Kim Min-Jae is a general. He has distinguished himself by securing the borders of the newly established Joseon Dynasty. He also keeps a close eye on the King’s fifth son, Yi Bang-Won. He believes Yi Bang-Won has ambitions to become King and is willing to do anything to gain the position. Kim Min-Jae has fallen in love for the first time, with a woman named Ka-Hee. He has plans to take her as a concubine, but does not realize she has a vendetta against him.
