1. A Tale Of Two Sisters



What’s It About: Inspired by a Joseon Dynasty era folktale, it focuses on a young girl returning home from a mental institution. She is greeted by her step-mother and ghosts haunting the home. The girl is comforted by her older sister and the two grow closer as unexplainable things start to occur in the house.

2. The Piper



What’s It About: Inspired by the fairy tale The Pied Piper of Hamelin, the story follows a wandering piper and his sick son as they enter a remote village. The village is plagued with rats. Woo-ryong volunteers to get rid of the rats in exchange for a pig to cover his son’s medical costs at the hospital. While everything appears to be going well, Woo-ryong’s nightmare has just begun.

3. Hansel And Gretel



What’s It About: A German folklore by the Brothers Grimm. A young saleman meets a mysterious girl on a dark road. He gets invited to a beautiful house with three children living inside. They give him plenty to eat and a warm place to sleep. The house seems to good to be true and too impossible to leave.

4. Hide And Seek



What’s It About: Sung-Soo owns and operates a successful cafe. He lives in a exclusive apartment with his wife and two children. He recieves a call that his older brother has gone missing. Sung-Soo checks on his brother’s apartment in a seedy part of town. After being at the apartment for a while, he discovers a series of “hide and seek” codes written on the doors and walls. A shocking truth comes to light for two different families and the struggle to save their families from someone living in their house.

5. Wishing Stairs



What’s It About: Two young ballet stars have a close friendship. The friendship is challenged when it is time to win a scholarship for only one spot in the prestegious Russian Ballet School. One of the girls, Jin-sung learns an old legend from another student about a staircase if they can make it to the top, then a fox spirit will grant their wish. When someone steps on the mysterious stair, the horror begins.

What’s It About: A fairy tale by Charles Perrault and the Brothers Grimm, the daughter of a successful plastic surgeon befriends a new girl who soons commits a mysterious suicide in front of her. Hyun-Soo becomes suspicious of her mother and sets out on a journey to try and find the clues hidden in the basement of her house.

7. The Red Shoes



What’s It About: Based off the Hans Christian Andsersen story of the same name, it tells the story of a woman named Sun-jae. She finds a pair of red shoes on a subway platform. Sun-jae soons discovers the shoes are cursed and she becomes obssessed with greed and envy. No matter how many times she tries to give away the shoes, they always find a way to return to her. Sun-jae, along with her new boyfriend work together to get to the bottom of the mysterious shoes.
