2. A Korean Odyssey



What’s It About: A modern spinoff of the classic Chinese Journey to the West. Jin Seon Mi was born with the ability to see spirits. She always carries a yellow umbrella with a protection spell carved on it from a Buddhist monk. One day when she was a little girl, a mysterious man dressed in black, asks her to retrieve a special fan from a haunted house. There she meets, Son Oh Gong, the Monkey King. He was imprisioned for his crimes by Heaven. Son Oh Gong tells Jin Seon Min that Ma Wang is dangerous and makes her a deal. He asks her to blow out five candles in exchange for protection. Upon doing so, Jin Seon Mi’s memory is erased and Son Oh Gong disappears. Years later, Jin Son Mi runs into Son Oh Gong on the street. He is trying to do good deeds in order to have his immortal status returned by Heaven. Through various circumstances, Son Oh Gong is now bound to Jin Seon Mi. He must protect her from supernatural forces.

3. Crash Landing On You
