1. Love Letter




What’s It About: Hiroko Wantanabe has just lost her fiancee in a mountain climbing accident. On the two-year anniversary after his death, Hiroko decides to write him a letter. She looks through his high-school yearbook at his parents house, and discovers the family used to live in Otaru. She records his old address and sends the letter believing the house has been torn down and replaced with a highway. Surprisingly, Hiroko recieves a reply from her letter.

2. Crying Out Love In The Center Of The World




What’s It About: Sakutaro Matsumoto is looking for his girlffriend. He returns to their apartment in Tokyo and realizes his girlfriend Ritsuko Fujimura, found some of his old cassette tapes during their move to a different apartment. The tapes are from his high school days when he and his first love, Aki Hirose used to exchange tapes to each other as a way to communicate. When Aki gets sick and is admitted to the hospital, Saku makes more tapes for her while she is there. As her condition worsens, Aki and Saku makes promises to each other to visit Uluru. Aki makes a final goodbye tape for Saku and her friends fails to deliver it to him. When Saku is an adult, he listens to the final tape and fulfills Aki’s last wish.

3. Last Letter




What’s It About: Yuri Kishibeno is a housewife with a husband and two children. Her sister Misaki Tono has passed away recently and she is getting ready to attend the funeral. While at the funeral, Yuri is handed an invitation to a school reunion. Yuri decides to attend the reuion to tell them her sister has passed. But while there, Yuri gets mistaken for Misaki and she can’t tell them otherwise. Kyoshiro Otosaka was also at the reunion and tells Yuri, who he thinks is Misaki, that he has always been in love with her. He asks for her phone number and the two soon start exchanging letters. Will Yuri find the strength to tell Kyoshiro the truth in her letter?
