Why I Love It: Gong Yoo and Lee Dong Wook are absolutely hilarious in this series. Goblin, one of my absolutely favorite K-Drama series. I was hooked from the very first episode. If you’re not familiar with Goblin, it’s a story about a 900-year-old God that has been cursed to roam Earth for the crimes he committed while he was alive. The only way the curse can be broken is if he finds his goblin bride.

This series is about two people that met when they were teenagers and fell in love. But when an accident happens and the families want to separate the two, they slowly drift apart. Many years later, the two happen to meet again by accident. Or was it? Maybe it was fate? Hmmm… Also, on a bonus note, Takeru Satoh will really make you wish he was your first love. 6. Squid Game

Netflix
Netflix

Starring: Lee Jung-Jae, Wi Ha-Joon, HoYeon Jung

Where To Watch: Netflix

Why I Love It: We are all feeling broke nowadays. How far would you go for money? I’m going to have to say, I think I would risk it on the Squid Games to try and win the prize money. The drama, the untrusting of everyone around you, all of the mind games you have to endure just to survive and make it to the next game….on second thought…I might not want to join. Squid Game is an intense, stomach ulcer producing, stress bringing series. Be prepared to have your favorites and least favorites take you through all of the emotions.

Why I Love It: A fun and heart-warming series, with a side of secrets…she is a hard core fangirl. We all have been fans of something at one point in our lives. It starts off small, liking an album, buying a concert ticket and concert merchandise. Then, the next thing you know, you’re travelling two states over to go to the concert where you have nose bleed seats, and costs a mini-fortune to get. But it doesn’t matter, because you get to see your favorite artist. This series shows what it’s like when your liking something goes a little too far and it starts to take over your life.
